August 2, 2009 – Going to the Caribbean!

I reluctantly got up at 5am for a shuttle transfer today so no one better poke fun at my bad breath. We made our way to Port Canaveral because today we board Royal Caribbean’s ‘Freedom of the Seas’, currently the largest cruise ship in the whole world. This place is huge – so big that it even has a basketball court, a rock wall for climbing, an ice skating rink, an outdoor surfing machine, and a whole deck level called ‘The Royal Promenade’ which is a street full of boutique shops and eateries.

After dinner we watched a comedy show that also featured two acrobats that used to be with Cirque Du Soleil. Papa and I had a lot of fun copying their routine from where we were sitting. We couldn’t tour the whole ship in one day so we’ll do the rest tomorrow.
