At dusk we set out for a stroll along South Beach (the place to be on a Friday night!), to find a restaurant called Larios which serves fine dine Cuban cuisine and is owned by Gloria Estefan. Yum! We wanted to try everything so ended up with lots of leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Papa also tried a Mojito – a cocktail which made him feel a little sluggish and light headed, while I had mouthfuls of steamed rice – Cuban style, and their version of leche flan for dessert. I am getting quite fat.
We walked off our full bellies by going on a trek to look for the tattoo parlour featured on the tv show Miami Ink. Papa claims he was planning to get a tattoo but then changed his mind because it was ‘too late already.’
Tomorrow we might wander through Miami Beach and see where it takes us…
